It's Just A Thursday

I laid low last night. Started a doc on a boxer from OKC.
Alex Saucedo.
It was sad.
I've been working on my site the best I know how. I even booked a gig today.
Well they booked me. But I have reached out to Matt Harlen (phenomenal songwriting friend of mine btw) about insight for the Anderson Fair. Now there's a piece of songwriting history for ya.
Hey, I saw Terry Anderson at Tamollys yesterday. He was part of my first guitar lesson crew.
I also reached out to Chad at Abendigos this morning. He responded with promise.
I also reached out to Fuz, and he responded without promise.
I'm thinking about reaching out to Spider next.
Sweetwater sent me an email this week. I should have never clicked on it.
A cherry finished Gibson J45 was in it. For $38.00 bucks a month. Now I can't stop thinking about it.
Cause I could spend 38 bucks a month on Dr Peppers and snuff.
Maybe me laying this thought down in text will make it run out of my ears.

This book I'm reading about the Texas Rangers, (not the baseball team) is great.
It allows me to leave 2025 Blossom for a bit each day. Last night I was in Victoria, Texas in 1840.
The Comanche were on the warpath. And after robbing a shipment of goods from a ship that had just arrived from Asia. And slaughtering everyone that couldn't escape to the sea in time.
And with Victoria Texas left burning.
The Comanche Warriors rode out of town with war paint on their faces, blood on their hands, and stolen goods.
Some of which they didn't even know what were, nor had they ever seen. Or what this thing they were looking at was used for.
One warrior wearing a stovepipe hat. One warrior wearing a long tailed trench coat that was buttoned in the back. A few wearing dresses.
Several had colorful ribbons tied in their hair and their horses manes.
Some warriors even had spoons and forks decoratively tied in their hair. A few warriors were even twirling umbrellas.
What a sight.

I got two different tunes in the infant stages. They could make it. Or they could not. It's too soon to speak of it.

I'M DOWN FOUR POUNDS
LOVING TO SEE THIS BLUE SKY
HOPEFULLY IT STAYS
