Michael O'Neal is a Texas-born singer-songwriter rooted in raw, honest storytelling. Influenced by legends like Guy Clark, John Prine, Steve Earle, and Townes Van Zandt, he’s spent over two decades crafting songs that resonate with grit and heart. With seven studio albums, two live records, and the 2017 Rusty Weir Songwriting Competition under his belt, O'Neal has shared stages with artists like Jason Isbell, Steve Earle, and Ray Wylie Hubbard. His upcoming album, Steady, is set for release in summer 2025 — another chapter in a life dedicated to the song.
